Right at the beginning of the pandemic, many people didn’t seem to care about the consequences of not staying home. Líbero’s communication has long been built on the line: “if they explain it to you with football, you get it”. So the Spanish magazine knew exactly what to do.
Many popular teams and players have better stats when they play home than they have when they play away. A print campaign was created comparing these stats, reinforcing the message that it’s easier to win at home. At the same time, Líbero gave out free access to the magazine’s online archives, encouraging fans to safely enjoy the sport they love.
